RENAULT motor sport has ended 2005 on a High--the company has the world's top Formula 1 racing driver in Fernando Alonso, as well as the constructor's championship.
But, winning the two championships will not be enough once the feeling of euphoria is replaced by reality--the millions of dollars invested in the Renault Formula 1 team will have to start translating into greater market share.
Renault executives have said publicly that the real objective of the company's participation in Formula 1 is to turn this success into a tool for enhancing the image and awareness of the Renault brand.
The company's web site proclaims "Formula 1 is continuing its global expansion, and this is strengthening Renault's commitment to the sport. Formula 1 is a major priority for Renault: the technology developed by the Renault F1 Team is already inspiring vehicles in the range, and producing clear benefits by raising the brand's profile."
So what's at stake in the months ahead? Renault F1 Team President Patrick Faure explains. "Our titles have been won by an international team with a French heart. It is a fantastic advertisement for French engineering excellence that will accompany Renault in its expansion around the globe. Now, we must exploit these titles at every level of the company. The hardest work has been done in winning the championship. Now we need to move to the next stage, initially in our communication but then at the tens and thousands of Renault points of sale around the globe, to explain our success to our customers and reflect the enhanced image Formula 1 success has brought. Success is not an end in itself, merely a beginning ..."
But, if Renault's marketing campaigns are to be founded on Formula 1 record, then the company had better keep winning.
As the chassis race team returned to Enstone, and brought the 2005 season to a close with a well-earned celebration, technicians began laying up carbon fiber 'plies' in the moulds of ... the R26. Formula 1 never sleeps, and the transition was immediate. What's more, it carries a powerful message: there is never time to rest on your laurels. So just as the team must continue moving forward, so too the focus of its management is now firmly on the future.
"We can absolutely repeat our success in 2006," says Bob Bell, Technical Director at Enstone. "We have no intention of making the same errors as some other teams have made in the past. There is no arrogance about our position, and we never take anything for granted. I think that happened to Ferrarl at the start of this season, while McLaren clearly underestimated us at the end. But that won't be our attitude this year. Our objectives will be set, and it will be a question of hard work to ensure we deliver them."

New automotive technology makes the Bugatti Veyron the fastest car in the world. Well the fastest full production car.
From what I have read in the most popular automotive magazines is that there are a few slightly faster cars available but the Bugatti is considered a true production car. This means you can actually order and buy this vehicle I will be describing below.
Worlds fastest car details
How about 1,001 horse power and 922 pound-feet of torque 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of over 253 mph. The car sells for 1.2 million dollars and I can not believe I am saying this but it is worth it.
The automotive technology stuffed in this package is mind blowing. I would not want to work on it but I would pay big money to drive the worlds fastest car.
The automotive magazines are all coming out with stories on this unique super car. This article will be a sampling in my own words of what I learned about this modern marvel.
Lets start with the things I have never seen in my 23 years in this business. The Bugatti has a horsepower gage on the dash, this like an onboard dynamometer that reports the horsepower at the wheels at any rpm.
Also on the control panel is the power key that lets the vehicle obtain its maximum speed. This power key activates on board systems that lower the vehicle by 2 inches in the front and opens undercarriage airports to actually suck the vehicle to the road using a Venture vacuum effect.
The power key on the worlds fastest car also deploys the rear wing to provide additional down force at high speeds. The wing is also dropped in the front on heavy braking to act as an air dam style brake. This very slick technology.
automotive technology picture Now onto the automotive technology in the engine compartment. The 8.0 liter 16 cylinder engine has 4 turbo chargers that provide the neck breaking horsepower, motivating the world's fastest car.
Believe it or not this engine gets 19 mpg on the highway, which is better, then my Chevy blazer. The power gets put directly to the road using the most advanced automotive technology I have seen.
A seven-speed manual gearbox with a dual clutch system with a paddle shift control on the steering wheel. All of this automotive technology is funneled through an all wheel drive system that the automotive magazines are calling bulletproof.
The transmission also has a fully automatic mode for your trips to the grocery store or just cruising slowly on the strip. The rubber hits the road through Michelin's 14.4-inch wide tires (the widest ever made) and is custom built for Bugatti.
These tires are of the run flat variety and are the only tires made with a speed rating to over 250 mph.
The tires are said to last around 10 thousand miles of hard driving and carry a replacement cost of around 12 thousand dollars for a set of four. But if you can afford the worlds fastest car 12k for tires should be a walk in the park.
Yes new automotive technology in the brake department as well. Ceramic disc brakes and an unheard of eight piston caliper design stops this super car from top speed to 0 mph in under ten seconds.
The braking system uses the vehicles aerodynamics to help dissipate the heat generated by braking from such high speeds.
Speaking of cooling things down. Again new automotive technology in this vehicles engine cooling systems. This vehicle has 10 radiators working together to cool this beast down.
As a side note the parent company of Bugatti is Volkswagen. Volkswagen has poured over 1.5 billion dollars into the development of this super car.
Price of the worlds fastest car
The estimated price tag of 1.2 million dollars is actually below cost according to Volkswagen sources. The plans to build out 500 units would mean an average cost of 5 million per unit, taking in to account the research and development costs.
The automotive magazines described driving this vehicle as a mind-blowing experience. What stood out to me the most is how the worlds fastest car works very hard at applying down force.
The faster you go the more adjustments are made on the fly to plant the vehicle on the road.
One automotive magazine reporter described this as the faster you go the safer you feel. Now that is automotive technology at its finest.

It must be highlighted that there are not such things like all in one tool; in almost all the cases, a particular tool can fix every potential problem.
Replacing All the Car Parts
With Internet it has now become very easy to find necessary parts to replace defective part. Obviously, if particular parts is difficult, or if vehicle is been imported, it can take a moment before it is replaced, particularly if it needs to be shipped from the other country.
Automotive Tool Kits
Certainly, it is significant if there is something going wrong with car you must consult qualified mechanic. But, for the simpler problems you need to fix on own, it also pays to have some handy automotive tools with you.
All of these automotive apparatus are not that pricey; mostly all you'll require are wrenches, spare fuses, screws of all types, pocket knives, pliers, torque wrenches, jumper cables, road flares, gloves, battery terminal brush, reflective vest, flashlights duct tapes, oil & some extra tires certainly. Of course, never forget car jacks. Other essentials are the medical kits & cell phones.
If you go out on long trip, then you need good-sized bag that will put all the tools in. Place them in back of trunk. Lastly, you must keep in mind that though these automotive utensils are simple to get anywhere. The same thing is said that if you are in car repair business. Never scrimp on quality of tools, because whatsoever you save on cost of tools can come out while customers begin complaining incompetent or else poor service.
Automotive tools include everything from the basic wrenches to costly diagnostic tools. Your business might need easy automobile tools to perform oil changes or else you may give wide services to your consumers with full service garage. You need to find niche, which works for your consumers needs & then buy automotive tools to get job done.
Make a decision what type of services you wish to offer your consumers. You can give tire service, fast oil change & lubes, AC maintenance or else all of above. Buy auto equipment, which meets these requirements. Look at following while deciding which car tools you need:
1. Select auto tools for single service garage.
2. Buy automotive tools and equipment for your service garage.
3. Select correct automotive tools to diagnose your consumer's car trouble.
The automotive tools and equipment are extremely expensive. Ensure you cover your apparatus for lost, stolen and manufacturer's defects or else have it covered in your business plan. Complete service garages require auto part equipment, which covers the whole thing that might happen to person's car from the minor oil leaks to full engine overhaul. The customers can expect you to stick anything or else carry out routine car maintenance.

History
Arguably, the first motorcycle was designed and built by the German inventors Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach in Bad Cannstatt (since 1905 a city district of Stuttgart) in 1885.[1] The first petroleum-powered vehicle, it was essentially a motorised bicycle, although the inventors called their invention the Reitwagen ("riding car"). However, if a two-wheeled vehicle with steam propulsion is considered a motorcycle, then the first one may have been American. One such machine was demonstrated at fairs and circuses in the eastern U.S. in 1867, built by Sylvester Howard Roper of Roxbury, Massachusetts.[1]
In 1894, Hildebrand & Wolfmüller became the first motorcycle available for purchase.[2] In the early period of motorcycle history, many producers of bicycles adapted their designs to accommodate the new internal combustion engine. As the engines became more powerful and designs outgrew the bicycle origins, the number of motorcycle producers increased.

An engine is a mechanical device that produces some form of output from a given input.
An engine whose purpose is to produce kinetic energy output from a fuel source is called a prime mover; alternatively, a motor engine is a device which produces kinetic energy from a preprocessed "fuel" (such as electricity, a flow of hydraulic fluid or compressed air).
A motor car (automobile) has a starter motor and motors to drive pumps (fuel, power steering, etc) – but the power plant that propels the car is called an engine. The term 'motor' was originally used to distinguish the new internal combination engine -powered vehicles from earlier vehicles powered by a steam engine (as in steam roller and motor roller). Military engines included siege engines, large catapults, trebuchets and battering rams.

Original Japanese automotive company, Yamaha Motor Co.. reported the middle of preparing sales navigation system - Global Positioning Systems (GPS), which is specifically designed for motorcycles. While the product is actually made by Garmin International, the company's navigation and communication leading, but still based on demand Yamaha.
GPS is a navigation system that use satellites. GPS receiver to obtain the signal from several satellites that mengorbit earth. GPS can provide position information on the surface of the earth and time with very high accuracy. GPS was used for war purposes, such as guiding the bomb, or know the position the team is located and audio conference calling for earning. GPS is now often used as a navigation tool such as the compass.
GPS-equipped owned Yamaha sound system instructions sent via the wireless transmitter (FM) to the Receiver that there is a rider in the helmets. This GPS system, including the transceiver and the holder will reputedly sold at 1,800 U.S. dollars. You interested?

It can be more economical than the injection carburettor?
That's because the measure is always right. from lap down to a comparison of the gasoline-air are always fit, According to information from the Edhi Sarwono, the Technical Service Training Manager PT AHM. Motorcycle shot many sensors that adjust the engine performance, debit fuel and air can be adjusted according to the needs of the gas openings. Other advantages, if a motorcycle carburettor depending on the condition of the environment, if a motorcycle is in place higher, it will be more extravagant. vice versa. but this does not affect the motorcycle injection. because of a sensor in a motorcycle shot to make the environment around the temperature, so the debit fuel also suitable local temperature.
Easy care
If the carburettor cleaned when the need to be demolished so that the time has not yet been demolished because it is often a risk that some components worn so vulnerable, especially Skep jacket. are for the type of motorcycle that use injection vulnerable longer treatment time, just 10-15 thousand kilometers once, it is enough in the wash with injector cleaner. even if the premium quality used good, the actual injection does not need to scotfree again. because besides sterile, AHM has also been given to the fine filter prior to the injector though clearly more secure Handy Hariko, Deputy GM Technical Service PT AHM.
Comparison
Supra x 125 with the injection and carburettor, honda injection can reach 66 km / liter, compared with the Supra x 125 type carburettor which it is done as far as 59.3 km / liter. I is sufficient.

If you have been to Vegas, or seen any of the thousands of movies set in Vegas, then you have probably seen the mammoth Harley Davidson that sticks out of the front of the Hard Rock Café. Believe it or not, in true Harley Davidson style, this motorcycle would actually be operational if there was a Paul Bunyan alive to ride it.
If you know the history of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle’s creation, you would understand why its creators, who believed anything was possible, would not have it any other way. Harley Davidson was born when two 21 year old Milwaukee boys decided it was too much work to ride a pedal powered bike up and down the hills of Milwaukee in 1901.
It took one failed effort, and a lot of work, but finally William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson (hence the brand name) with the help of Davidson’s older brother and an engineer down the street created the first fully motored bicycle that became the first Harley to ever grace the street of America. Although the bike frame was thin and sheet metals as all bicycles were at the time, and the engine weighed 28 pounds, it was successfully able to carry the boys up the hills and so an American staple was born.
Since then the bike has only soared in popularity and been both a standard of the hard rock life and a symbol of manhood. Not only has the owning a Harley been a class distinction among motorcyclists, but now the logo itself has spread like wildfire as Harley Davidson makes about 5% of its annual revenue from the sale of items inscribed with the logo. There simply is no other motorcycle that can compete with the Harley, on the road or in people’s hearts.

How to Identify DOT Helmet
Lets us consider some of the labeling requirements of these DOT motorcycle helmet. You should check for the following things before you purchase a helmet:
- A DOT sticker should be attached on the back of the helmet, located centrally towards the bottom.
- In addition, these should be a DOT label that is sewn permanently at the inside of the helmet.
- This label should not be in such a place from where it can easily be taken off.
- A genuine DOT sticker should include the name or the logo of the manufacturer of the motorcycle helmet, date of manufacturing, size of the helmet, model name or the model number and the components used to make the helmet.
- If you don't see all the above-mentioned information on the helmet's label, it will be great not to purchase such a helmet.
Benefits of DOT
The DOT ranking is an industry standard and a mean through which the customers can judge the effectiveness and safety of the helmet. These ratings provide you with objective criteria to certify the safety of the helmet that you are purchasing. Thus, rather than only relying on what does the dealer tells you, now it is possible for the buyers to identify the real criteria on his own and judge the measures of protection offered by a specific helmet.
DOT Helmet Testing Procedure
Then, what are the testing procedures used to determine these criteria's? Let's discuss it:
- The DOT carries out a very straightforward impact test. It uses a simulated headpiece that is placed in the helmet.
- Then, the tester drops the helmet from a height of about 10 feet. A human head cannot receive units more than 400 G-force on impact. A G-force unit measures the gravitational force that is exerted on an object when it is in motion. Here is the kicker for the helmets labeled with DOT.
- The manufactures are not required to test their helmet to prove that it has a DOT rating.
- The manufacturer of the helmet only needs to know that his helmet will meet the DOT specifications so that it will be branded as "DOT rated helmet".
Thus, we can conclude saying that the DOT rating is a sign of quality motorcycle helmets that meets the minimal standards to ensure the safety of the rider. If your helmet is DOT certified, it means that it has met the minimum amount of certification process and thus, you are purchasing a decent helmet.

Scooters today have been exposed to a whole new audience, with high gas prices making them a very desirable alternative to our gas guzzling cars and SUV's. But there are a number of things you need to know when jumping into this fun new way of getting around.
If you plan on using your new scooter on the road, you will need to have a motorcycle insurance policy. You will need to present that proof of scooter insurance at your DMV when buying a scooter license plate. It's a good idea while you are there to check to see what the laws in your state are for wearing a helmet also. Some states don't require it, but even so, it's your head, it depends how attached you are to it.
Some basic scooter maintenance will go a long way to making your commute to work or school more enjoyable. It's good to get to know your scooter, and what things need to be looked at and checked on a regular basis. It's always a good idea to look your scooter over before every ride. I think you will find that most basic maintenance is quite simple even if you have never done anything mechanical before.
If you have a new Chinese scooter, which are become so popular because of the great looks and low prices, finding parts sometimes can be a little tricky unless you've done some homework. The parts are actually easy to come by if you know where to shop.
OK so now you have scooter insurance, you found where to get scooter parts, and you can do some basic scooter maintenance, now you are ready to hit the road! Cruising down country roads on your new scooter is pretty sweet. If you would like to ride with other like minded scooter lovers, maybe you should consider joining a scooter club. There are lots of them worldwide. There should be one near you, and if not you can put the word out and maybe start your own.

Below is 7 tips buying a used car :
1. Do Your Research
Before you head off to a car lot or peruse the paper, do some research. Start by determining the type of vehicle you want, and then narrow the field to a few models. Whether you're looking for a sports car or minivan, if you are educated going into the process, you'll be in a much better position. You'll know the kinds of questions to ask and you'll be able to negotiate smarter. Investigate the car's average fuel mileage, various features, upkeep, and average costs for repairs. Check reviews such as in Consumer Reports, talk with people who own the vehicle you're looking for, and call dealerships.
2. Comparison shopping
Once you know what you're after, start looking. Look up the blue book value ranges and see what the going rates are for the vehicle you're after. Be wary of jumping on the first good deal you see, however. A great price may mean hidden costs elsewhere. If you are buying from an individual, try to get as much information from the person as possible. You may have the opportunity for some type of warranty or repair plan if you go through a dealer.
3. Lemon Laws and Lemon Checks
Whether you're buying from an individual or dealer, have the car checked by a third party. If the seller insists on a deposit before you have this done, say thank you and shop elsewhere. Lemon Laws refer to each state's laws that protect consumers if they've purchased a vehicle that is persistently defective. In many states, lemon laws apply if the vehicle requires multiple repairs within the first thirty to forty days of purchase, but the laws vary. Check your state's laws so you know your rights.
4. Look Up the VIN Number
Having the vehicle looked over isn't enough. That will give you an idea of what shape the vehicle is in now. Researching the history by the vehicle's VIN number will give you an idea of the car's past. The VIN is the Vehicle Identification Number, and it can be found on the title or under the windshield. A VIN report will run about $20 to $25, but it is worth the price. You may learn important things about the car that are not evident otherwise.
5. How much are you willing to pay?
When shopping for a used car, you need to know the price range you can afford. Obviously, if you have a bit more to spend, you can buy a better car. If you're looking for a relatively new car (three to four years old), you'll likely be looking at a range starting at $8,000 for a decent car. If you are in the lower price range, looking for a car five years or older, it may take more time to find a decent car that doesn't have too many miles on it. Again, shop around and avoid the temptation to buy the first low-price car you find.
6. Don't Discount Dealers
You may or may not get a better deal through a private seller, so carefully consider using a dealer. Dealers will often give used cars a thorough check and offer some type of warranty on the cars. They will also ensure there are no outstanding liens against the vehicle, something you'll need to do on your own if you buy from a private party. When it comes time to sign the papers, be sure to read everything carefully, however. Make sure you understand the terms of the agreement and any warranties or service checks offered.
7. Consider Different Financing Options
One benefit to buying from a dealer is that financing is often available for used cars as well as new. However, it pays to shop around when it comes to finance options. A personal loan through a bank may carry a much lower interest rate than the dealer's plan. Take the time to calculate total costs for different types of loans so you can make the best choice.

Every single day there are tens of thousands of cars for sale on eBay which makes the eBay motors division the most profitable department within eBay. There millions of cars sold online every year and eBay is getting a big portion of it.
There is large numbers of people making a living just taking cars on consignment and placing them on eBay. Some of these people have never even seen the car they are selling! This is a great business, usually the only risk is your auction fee and some shrewd consigners even get the car owners to pay for that.
As with most other online businesses, the biggest issue to deal with is gaining the trust of potential buyers. This can be a little difficult for someone just starting to do business on eBay. But, you can hardly blame the buyers who are spending thousands of dollars on a vehicle they have never physically seen.
eBay in their infinite wisdom has set up escrow services to help alleviate these fears. This definitely seems to help when the buyer knows that the money is going to be kept by a third party until the transaction is completed smoothly. The escrow service of choice is Escrow.com. The way thee system works is the buyer gets two days to inspect the vehicle, if everything is okay he notifies the escrow company and they release the funds to the selling party. If the transaction goes south, the buyer returns the item and the escrow company returns the buyer's money.
The online vehicle sales business has become so large that Escrow.com has even opened a division that only deals with vehicle sales. They even offer an inspection service which at this time is $125, not too bad for the piece of mind it affords.
Through Escrow.com the buyer can also deposit his payment with them and negotiate a period of up to 30 days to have the vehicle completely looked over. This time period must be agreed upon by both parties before the transaction is consummated. If the buyer doesn't contact the Escrow Company by the end of the agreed upon period then it is assumed the transaction is valid and the money is distributed to the seller.
Another value added service that has been implemented recently is worldwide shipping. Escrow.com will ship vehicles almost anywhere in the world, well except for Cuba. LOL. They will also get a vehicle history report like CarFax that tells the history of the vehicle and whether it has ever had major damage, been stolen, or even if it has been a vehicle for hire.
With all the positives offered here it would be wise to utilize the aforementioned company for any vehicle transactions online.

Will dispensing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve help us? If you think short-term - Yes; it will help temporarily.
In fact, you can expect to see products and services increase in price due to the price of fuel and transportation. This is only the beginning of economic change. Many of the "Mom and Pop" businesses may not be able to adapt fast enough to handle the upcoming heating bills. Many of the local businesses, in my area, are still "smarting" from last winter's fuel bills.
So what can we do? There has been a flood of Emails that tell us to boycott a particular oil company, but nobody can agree on exactly which company to boycott. Most oil companies are considered "greedy corporate giants," with questionable political agendas, by the consumers. If we are going to be driven out of business, and into an economic disaster, it is time to declare economic warfare on the largest oil companies.
Sorry to choose such strong words and opinions, but this has gone on long enough. Osama Bin Laden may not feel that you are paying enough at the pump, but you don't have his millions to pay your fuel bills with.
There is also an effort to stop buying gasoline on a particular day. Every business deals with ups and downs, but you have to come back to the pump; a day of poor sales isn't going to matter to multi-millionaires. However, a month, or a season, will wake them up.
If we made a serious commitment to walk or bike more, we would all be healthier, and send a message to the oil companies. Granted, many of us commute great distances to get to work, but taking the car around the block to pick up a half-gallon of milk is ridiculous.
A little self-discipline goes a long way. Get rid of all gas guzzlers and don't even think of buying one. Does anyone really need a 5.7 liter hemi? What are the auto manufacturers thinking? This is total gluttony, and we all know that the world's oil reserves will run out, so let's conserve what we have.
In your home, or business, you should insulate everything possible. Many people, and businesses, already have done this, but heat is becoming too precious a commodity to take for granted.
Write your local legislators about alternative fuel sources. Let them know this is an important election issue.
They have all sat on their rear ends long enough. Foreign oil dependence has become our foreign policy; it's time to become self sufficient.
The oil companies are currently engaged in price gouging, but we are not helpless. If we conserve, and get some action from government, it will be for the common good.

Many motorcycle rider take rear view mirror as a mere display, there is also considered a rear view mirror to make motorcycles look cool or less okay. So that the motorcycle rider often remove or change the rear view mirror rear view mirror. But unfortunately rear view mirror is not working. That is very dangerous for the rider and also endanger the other motorist.
I think your history rear view mirror? Here history rear view mirror. First in the early 1900 when the car is still new goods, new cars and racing began to grow, each participant racing car mechanics always bring.
Mechanical task is to improve the car if damaged during the race. With the increasing development of technology, machines, so the car more sophisticated and less mechanical damage and no longer needed.
Mechanical function is then changed to "observer" that help the driver. So then this mechanical duty to observe the situation in the back of their car, so drivers can know if there are other cars that will peseerta "passing" them. Every car that participated in the era of car racing is always carries two passengers, one pilot car on duty and one duty to observe the situation behind them.
Then, in the year 1911 race in the Indianapolis 500, one of the participants find it difficult to become a mechanical observers to monitor the situation behind. As the exit and then he put the car in the mirror. By using this mirror he can see if there are other participants that the race will precede or nyalip. Because the burden that transported more light, the car can be way more quickly and ultimately he won the race. In the next year all the participants of the race car rearview mirror installed in their cars, and since that time all the cars using the rear view mirror.
So make the motorcycle rider not wearing a rear view mirror and not meet the rear view standard, the pair first rear view mirror that really works. Do not not use rear view mirror, or just a rear view mirror display only. A dangerous rider and I also let the police. have the girl from the pack of police.
